Happy Thanksgiving

Ask what do you want now, to free yourself from thinking about the limitations of the technology and let your imagination take you to what things do you want to have done, what problems do you want to solve.

-Andra Keay, managing director, Silicon Valley Robotics

Being off school, our team members where able to spend time with their families and friends. Although the pressure may be on to make sure everything is perfect for the competition in December we realize that family comes first. From everyone at the Eastwood team we hope you have a great Thanksgiving

Week of November 12th-16th

This week we discussed how we could help teams less fortunate than us. We talked about volunteering at the Mountain View Competition and who would be doing certain tasks there. We also touched on the subject of making a Thanksgiving basket for the homeless shelter; we successfully got our members to bring in many donation items. With the help of our extremely active student council, we are assured that they have received our gift of food and compassion.

Week of November 5th-9th

Welcome back to your weekly Robotics run down! We have been counting down the days until our first competition, however, due to unfortunate circumstances, none of are teams are able to attend. In preparation for this competition we have made amazing strides, which is great for our team. Our CADers and Builders are working tirelessly, making everything perfect for our programmers and notebook team.  On Friday, our team will meet to let everyone know some positive and negative concerns for this week.
